XXX MILANO UNICA: 4/5/6 FEBRUARY 2020 – SPRING SUMMER 2021

GEN Z: this is the theme of the 30th edition of Milano Unica which will be held from 4 to 6 February 2020 and in which the Spring / Summer 2021 collection will be presented.

The inspiration was taken from GENERATION Z, i.e. young people born after 1990, a generation that came into the world perfectly connected with technology and social networks.

Do you want to know how we interpreted this theme?

Come and find out in Hall 8, stand B07 at Rho Fiera Milano.

Save the date: fairs FW 2020/2021 to learn about the new Spring’85 collection

The theme of sustainability is always very current in the field of fashion and for the entire production chain that produces it.
The trade fairs for FW 2020/2021 , to which Spring’85 will take part , mark the theme on the eco-sustainability of the product and how it fits between the world of fashion and nature.
Spring’85 for every idea and every production, guarantees buttons made in Italy with materials and recycling processes for a circular production far from  damaging waste for the planet.

The collection that we will be presenting for the season you display custom metal buttons, jeans rivets and the everlasting snaps button with various shapes and sizes that will reflect the crazy trend.

The events not to miss, are:

Milano Unica: 9, 10, 11 July 2019 and the theme ECO-EROTICA
The themes that challenge our creations, show the apparent disagreement of two realities: the seductive and selfish  shade of eroticism and the altruistic tendency for the salvation of the planet.

A Vitruvian fashion, whose center features the aesthetic complacency dictated by the pressure of the social media  but which, at the same time, needs to find harmony with something more immense like the conscious respect for the environment.
Spring’85 offers many types of processing: inlays, diamond-cut and galvanic finishes that simulate the effects of the most avant-garde diktats of fashion.

-Première Vision – 17,18, 19 September 2019:
“The season 20-21 invites a more human, protective, seductive, often moving and fascinating fashion”.
The whole fair has been inspired by the photographs that Bertil Nilsson took for the event and which portray the human being, understood as a “human form” in the constantly changing natural environment.
The result  of this research are shown by immaterial textures, in contrast with vivid  and passionate  and then concluding  with bright, pigmented earth tones.
Spring’85 will set out this journey through prints, paints and pad printing that follow the interpretation of eco-sustainability from the point of view of the  metal accessory.

Production of jeans buttons and press buttons with low environmental impact

Thanks to  the photovoltaic system, Spring ’85 produces 30% of its electricity needs. This means that the company, using solar energy, releases less carbon dioxide into the atmosphere for the production of buttons. Since the photovoltaic plant started to work, 1,081,922 kg of CO2 have not been spread  into the atmosphere.

In addition to the important aspect of carbon dioxide emission reduction, Spring ’85 uses recycled raw materials deriving from previous productive processes. None of the components, whether wastes or production wastes, is thrown away , otherwise ,it is consciously put in a special container for subsequent rework.

Starting from this point,   we are creating  a capsule collection of jeans buttons and rivets with a low environmental impact. We try to reduce the consumption of water to a minimum and we do not use chemical agents for the finishing phases. We are using , though, mainly natural products to give birth to different finishes.

Spring ’85 rewarded at MADE IN PADUA – fashion & design edition

Not only Made in Italy but also Made in Padua, Spring ’85 is proud to have participated in this project promoted by the Padua Chamber of Commerce. This year the Made in Padova project focused on Fashion, the third “F” of Italian Design after Food and Forniture. In fact, fashion is not only a true Paduan excellence, but is above all a strategic factor in ensuring competitiveness for businesses and the area. Starting from the principle that in order to make a territory grow, it is necessary to pass on to the valorisation and promotion of what is created within it, the Padua Chamber of Commerce  has believed in the cultural and promotional value of Made in Padua production for years and therefore supports this publication.

Monday 29 May 2017 at 5.30 pm at Villa Ottoboni, Spring ’85 together with the other 14 companies participating in the project, withdrew the award, rewarding the companies: Andrea Rambaldi, chairman of Sistema Moda Confindustria Padua, Sandro Vecchiato, Executive Component Confindustria Padua and Leonardo Toson, Chairman of the Cooperative Credit Bank of Piove di Sacco.

” Our produtcs are buttons for jeans and outwear, as well as rivets, but we like to call them accessories because their features, finishing, processing and research permit them to be used not only to close garmetns but also to embellish them. Design, planning, research and originality are essential ingretiends. Our clients choose us for our flexibility and quality; this is the only way price becomes secondary! This strategy is not just advantageus because it makes us very busy, especially with ideas. Our clients always expect new suggestions and proposals; therefore I always remind our young collaborators that the difficult task is improving what we are already able to create.” (the founder Carlo Favarato)
